 Tracey 'Is that a pony?' Leon - Chair
Tracey joined Excalibur in 2007 after snorkelling on holiday in Mexico and watching the divers below from the surface and wishing she could be down there with them. She began her Ocean Divers training with Mike and Stuart as her main mentors and initially her aim was to complete her Ocean Divers course without drowning and to finish what she had begun. At some point she started acquiring her own kit (and still is) and she is now a newly qualified Sports Diver. Her aim for the coming year is to obtain as much experience as she can though she stills needs some convincing that diving in the UK during the months of January and February is a good idea and really not that cold. |

 Chris Chapman - Diving Officer
One of our more experienced divers, Chris started diving with Southend BSAC (No. 22) in 1991. Now a BSAC Advanced Diver, IANTD Advanced Nitrox, TDI CCR Diver and CCR Trimix Diver. Amongst his other skills are VHF Radio Operator, O2 administrator & SAA Gas Blender. Chris passes on his experience through his instructor qualifications, which are currently SAA Open Water Instructor and BSAC Open Water Instructor.

 Martin Stephenson - Assistant Training Officer
Martin has been around Excalibur for ever, and is always there to assist with words of wisdom when required. If you cut him in half, you'll find 'Excalibur' written all the way through. When the club required a new home for the compressor, Martin volunteered to allow it to be housed at his business premises. |

 Stuart Peel - Training Officer Stuart joined the club in September 2006 to continue his lapsed training, some 15 years ago!!He is currently a Dive Leader and Open Water Instructor. He is an O2 Administrator, Boat Handler and VHF Licence holder. As Training Officer he is able to give back to the club some of the valuable training he has received. |
